When El Molino’s star performer, Xavier Gavrilov creates a dance routine to Dark Paths, an obscure track by a little known British band on the verge of disintegration, little does he know how it will change his life. When the lead singer shows up one night in the club where he dances, a chance in a million encounter leads to a night of scorching passion, and something more. His muse likes to bite and Xavier likes it too but their red hot liaison will soon trigger a chain of events that puts his freedom and even his life at stake.
When singer Rayne Wylde comes to San Francisco to promote a new record, a few promo stops and a catch up with some old friends are all he has in mind. He’s certainly not planning on getting involved with a complete stranger or starting an all out vampire war, but when a friend takes him to El Molino to watch Xavier perform, he simply has to find out more about the sexy dancer who brings his words to life on the stage.

The Whipsnade frontman is Undead, and the taste of Xavier’s blood brings him a flood of memories filled with heartbreaking abuse that eerily mirrors his own dark past. Before he can explore them in more detail, he must return to London but when Cole Lagrado, the Vampire Master of San Francisco abducts Xavier, the dancer’s existence is suddenly at stake and Rayne has no choice but to stay and fight for their lives.
