At first I did not like Roy and Luke in Complicating Roy by Megan Slayer as well as Summer and Arthur in Loving Summer Rain by the same author, partly because burned-out rock stars are not my thing. But then the cats Raphael and Chester entered the story and I appreciated the character development of Roy and Luke through their love for the cats. It was entertaining to see the different levels of fame the MCs experience as artist and rock star. There are lots of hints where the series is going in the future. Who would have guessed a small town in the middle of nowhere would have such a vibrant gay community? I would guess James finding his HEA will end the series, which seems fitting to me. I received a copy of Complicating Roy by Megan Slayer from Pride Publishing and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
