Finding Him is the third book in L.M. Someton's The Retreat series. Each book centers around a specific character, but characters from previous stories do play a significant role, so I'd recommend reading these books in order. None has ended in a cliff-hanger, they all have very happily ever afters, and I've thoroughly enjoyed each one!
