It’s been a while since I’ve read an opposites-attract story and Loving Summer Rain by Megan Slayer reminded me how much I enjoy them. Summer Rain is the quintessential artist, although one with a thing for buttoned-up men. The author found the least-likely opposite in Arthur, an insurance agent who loves his work. It was fun watching these two find their way to happiness in a small town that is not totally supportive. I especially enjoyed the secondary character of James, the hair stylist who set up Summer Rain and Arthur. While I liked seeing how his character evolved a little in this story, he deserves his own book. I received a copy of Loving Summer Rain by Megan Slayer from Pride Publishing and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
