Review by R. Scalera
Catherine Curzon and Eleanor Harkstead knock it out of the park -- quite literally -- with the newest book in their Captivating Captains series. Though set in modern day, this story is quintessentially British, almost cozy mystery in its comforts of village life, gossip, and setting. George and Henry are easy to fall in love with from the moment they hit the page. While both "a type" -- the dramatic television personality and the introverted, small town vet -- they are original and unique characters with a love story that is both timeless and universal and very much their own. I will continue to recommend the Captivating Captains and very much look forward to the next book in the series. * This book was provided free from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. *
