We get a host of cast of characters that each play an important role in the journey of the serial murders and even have an impact on the relationship of Dale and Matt. What I loved most about this story was the writing style of the author. Using more than just the two main characters POV’s to tell us the story, sinking the reader into the possibility of who could be the killer.
I was in awe of this in the book and kept me at the edge of my seat while I waited for his next move towards the killer’s ultimate goal.
The romance part of the story is actually the complete opposite of the murder part. It was sweet romantic and hot as the same time.
I highly recommend this story to anyone who loves this type but also those who think they don’t because it might just be the one that actually changes your mind. I will definitely be reading this author again.

Closer by Morning [...] will leave you guessing until the end.
The author [...] has peppered Closer by Morning with so many secondary characters that I could see one or more being the “bad” guy. I was also surprised by the way the killer was caught and am sure readers will not see it coming. Closer by Morning was an interesting read and I will have to keep my eyes open for more books by this author.

Excellently written debut murder mystery for Thom Collins. He will definitely be an author that I will watch out for. I thought the two MC's Matt and Dale were interesting but I really thought Jamie Dench stood out the most. He had to deal with a lot of emotions and put them aside and use his skills to figure out who the murderer was. I could see him as a character for a series or his own book.
