I found this book different yet realistic..... I loved the prologue it gave a great insight to the book so there wasn't continual flash backs. Dominic is sweet, a shy guy with a huge heart. Evrain was a typical bossy guy that was used to getting his own way. Together they work beautifully. I honestly can't wait to read more in this series....

Elemental Love is the start of a new series by L.M. Somerton. I’ve read and enjoyed books from the author before, and when I saw she was starting this new series, I was more than happy to sign up for the book! In this new series, Ms. Somerton is introducing us to a group of warlocks and witches who live amongst us. While that is a formula that has been used before, the author did a good job with creating a story that was entertaining, while at the same time doing some minor world building which I’m guessing will be used in upcoming installments. Our story begins twenty-one years in the past, when a baby is born into a magical family…a family that has only produced witches for the last 500 years. No one expected a warlock. When he is born, his grandmother instantly puts a spell on him, effectively blocking his magical powers until his twenty-first birthday to protect him from evil outsiders who might try to seize him to build their own powers.

Multiple layers of plotline strengthen Elemental Love. Strong characters and a riveting story make for an exciting first book. Can’t wait to see what happens next…

I really liked this one. Great world building, something a bit different for a paranormal and two characters who were very easy to like. Add to that good secondary characters and a bit of a murder mystery and Elemental Love held my attention to the end.

Unbelievable! A new series by one of my favorite authors, 'Elemental Love' was chock full of magic, treachery, and a love story to rival them all. Ms. Somerton has definitely gone above and beyond with this new venture and it thrilled me to no end.
I was enchanted by this first book in the series. I'm really looking forward to more of Evrain and Dominic. I have a pretty strong feeling the author has quite a few stories left to tell.

Somerton does a great job of making the relationship development feel as though it took longer than it did. There was certainly an immediate attraction on both men’s part, but Dominic’s shyness required more finesse on Evrain’s part, which made their courting seem to last longer. The sexual encounters are hot, but I particularly enjoyed Dominic’s natural bondage bed scene. It was both hot as heck and something the likes of which I have never read before. The magical showdown at the end was action-packed and a serious page-turner because I couldn’t wait to see who did what to whom. And it was awesome! Elemental Love has the Warlocks series off to a great start and I cannot wait to read the next installment.

I so enjoyed this story. I got pulled into the world Ms. Somerton created and I couldn’t put the book down until the story was over. Evrain was a wonderfully developed character. You could feel his hesitance to channel through Dominic and his fear for Dominic’s safety. All of his emotions were written so clearly you could feel them...I can’t wait to see where Ms. Somerton takes this world as the series continues.

In this book, you are given an excellent viewpoint of how the partnership can work, with loving and strong foundations, as with Gregory and Coryn, or you see how it can be abused, used without love, as with Symeon and Damon. With plenty of action, romance, and humour, this is a fantastic start to the Warlocks series and one that I will be reading again. Highly recommended.

I love the connection that Evrain and Dominic form. They trust, love and heat up the sheets.
The mystery behind this story is both frustrating and interesting. It definitely makes me want to read more because there is no real conclusion.
I am excited to see what else this series will bring.

This is a new-to-me author, and I'm really looking forward to reading more not just in this series, but from this author in general. I really liked the way the writing flowed, and the storytelling was quite good. There was suspense, sexual tension, drama all woven together to create a story that I didn't want to put down.
I liked the supporting characters, I found Evrain's grandmother to be quite strong and his godfather Gregory was funny, smart and supportive. Symeon and Damon were great in their dastardly roles.
There's some strong groundwork laid here for future books in this series, and I'm really looking forward to reading more.
