Walker does a phenomenal job in making us love Tom & Coop so much more than before. Walker flawlessly wrote a story that is realistic. I could read them banter back forth for ever. The way Tom just doesn’t get why Cooper will not move in with him and how Cooper makes Tom work for it……freaking genius.

I am loving this series, and both Thomas and Cooper. Ms. Walker has given us two intelligent, sexy, charismatic and wonderful men; they both bring such interesting character traits to the story. They are both hot when in public, but utterly delicious when in private. It would be difficult to find a better pairing.

I enjoyed Clarity of Lines even more than Elements of Retrofit. The story provided more a background to Tom and his coming out. The way he lead his life up to his fortieth birthday made so much sense and I admired him for the way he’d handled both his son and his ex-wife in the years since he’d started to follow his true self. As Tom says of his divorce, his wife may have got the houses but “I got my new gay life.” There is a sense of realism with the pain and hurt, but it isn’t dragged out. The book is humourous with witty retorts, lots of banter, and of course a wonderful smattering of age references. Cooper is glorious in the way he relates to Tom. The sex is once again fabulous. The story is (mainly) told from Tom’s point of view, which left me wanting to know how Cooper was feeling. And then it happened, the wonderful epilogue from Cooper’s perspective. *cheering*

I honestly can't remember the last time i read a book where I had a big goofy grin on my face for 85% of the book...which is exactly what happened with this one. Let it be known that I ABSOLUTELY F&%KING LOVE COOPER JONES. We get to see a bit of vulnerability out of him in this one, that just solidifies what an amazing young man he is.His love for tom just makes you love him all the more. Tom's need for cooper is tangible and just so perfect. This is an absolutely perfect follow-up to book 1 and prelude to book 3!

I love this series more every time I read it. This is just an absolutely terrific, low angst May/December romance, with no miscommunication, hot sexy times, and a sweet HFN! Also, there’s another bonus chapter told from Cooper’s POV! Highly recommended!

It’s clear what the topics or milestones in Thomas and Cooper’s life Walker wanted to address, and she did. She did it very well. There wasn’t any unnecessary frivolity, and another thing I really liked was that both these men didn’t forget their jobs or completely ignored them. Somehow one’s work can seem as an extra rather than a vital part of what makes someone who they are, and by not doing that Walker made another good impression. Obviously, enjoyed reading it and recommend it wholeheartedly.

Honestly, there is a lot of heart here, and I really dug the way I saw Tom and Cooper grow together as a couple. It is apparently true for people of every age that censure builds a stronger bond. For all slings and arrows sent Tom and Cooper's way, their affection increases exponentially. By the end, Tom gets Cooper exactly where he needs him, and that was super sweet. There are some down moments and melancholy bits, but this is a solid romance so expect happiness by the end and some sexytimes--though I'd have liked a bit more of those!
